Henry Suarez is a Dominican-American storyteller born and raised in Corona, Queens. He writes about his escapades trying to maintain his Dominican culture as a first-generation American, the unpredictability of parenthood, and his struggle to keep his sanity in middle life through a comical, effortlessly entertaining, relatable perspective. His narratives have appeared in NYT’s Tiny Love, DWA Cuenticos, and Acentos Review.
